The UNPA Model (MUNPA) is based on three clearly defined pedagogical stages.

The Campaign for a United Nations Parliamentary Assembly is a global network of parliamentarians, non-governmental organizations, scholars, and dedicated citizens that advocate for democratic representation of the world's citizens at the United Nations. A United Nations Parliamentary Assembly (UNPA) for the first time would give elected citizen representatives a direct and influential role in global policy.
PROPOSAL
PROPOSAL
Starting as a consultative body, the rights and powers of the UNPA could expand over time as its democratic legitimacy increases. The Assembly will act as a watchdog independent of the UN system and as a democratic reflection of the diversity of world opinion.
In short, our aim is for the UN to evolve into a viable democratic and legislative body.
